My Story
Hello! Hola!
I’m Claudia Heidelberger and I am a bilingual real estate agent and notary public in Shelby County, Indiana.
I got my first taste for title work while working as a Paralegal in a prestigious Miami law firm that specialized in Real Estate. When I left Miami in 1996, I knew I would want to return to it eventually, but life had other plans.
I started The Amiga Agency because I have been through all the wringers of life: marriage, divorce, kids, buying a home, losing a home, renting, relocating, losing everything and most importantly, rebuilding. After spending most of my life working for someone ELSE, I knew a change was needed and the Amiga Agency was born from that seed of an idea, a vision I was more than driven to accomplish. the success and satisfaction of my clients.

I’m 100% Latina, born and raised in Miami to my Cuban parents, who came to the US as teenagers, fleeing Communism in the 60s. My parents and grandparents were proud Americans and devoted their entire lives to helping others. Their work ethic, morals, and values are sewn into the fibers of my DNA.
My Credentials
Along with my Notary commission, I am a Real Estate Broker with Carpenter Realtors in Franklin. Previously, I worked for the State of Indiana at the BMV, so I am well versed in vehicle titles, I-9’s and other documents related to credential and identity verification.
And a little extra…
I am self-taught web developer and graphic designer, a former concert photographer, an artist, and I teach art & tech. I love concerts/live music, traveling, photography, coffee, video games, pop culture, nature, cats, arts/crafts/painting/creating, podcasts, and the Miami Dolphins.
My Hoosier husband and I met online in 2012 while we were both living in the northeast. We married in 2013, and relocated to Indiana after the birth of our daughter so we could be closer to family. We recently bought our first home (I represented my husband) and settled in Shelbyville, Indiana.
